Plants Per Country
From the oxygen we breathe to the food we eat, these pillars of ecosystems and human existence now teeter on extinction’s edge.
From the towering rainforest canopies to the modest mosses that carpet the forest floor, plants are the cornerstone of terrestrial life. They generate the oxygen we breathe, form the backbone of food chains, and act as primary producers in nearly all ecosystems. Beyond their ecological roles, plants stabilize the soil, regulate the climate, and provide habitat for countless species.
However, plant populations worldwide face threats from deforestation, climate change, invasive species, and pollution. Deepening our understanding of plant diversity and the conservation challenges they encounter across different biomes is crucial for their preservation, ensuring the continued health of our planet and the survival of the myriad life forms that depend on them.
