Moose

They are so tall, that they prefer to feed on higher shrubs and grass, as lowering their head to the ground can be difficult!

Moose is the largest extant species in the deer family. Males are easily recognized by their large open-hand-shaped antlers, which could spread 1.8m (6 ft) from end to end.

Their coat color varies from dusky black to brown depending on the time of the year and age of the animal, with calves often being light rusty colored.

When the hairs on the hump are raised and the ears are laid back, that might be a sign to attack. Despite their bulky body, they can run at 56 km/h (35 miles/h) and easily swim 16 km (10 miles). During hotter days, they will rest in shallow water to cool off or to prevent insect bites.
