    The spectacular male is renowned for its mystical long tail feathers with rackets at their ends. This feature is unique to males, while females are no less in beauty. The male attracts females through a breathtaking courtship display. The female sits on a twig and enjoys it while the male dances at a super high speed, going backward and forward, showing off its rackets.

    Female is single-handedly responsible for nest-making and taking care of the young. Some males may lack one or both rackets as their feathers molt. Sadly, this specie has been subjected to overhunting due to the aphrodisiac property of its heart. There is a dire need to save this unique species from extinction.
