Wolverine

Once wolverine was once observed defeating a polar bear

MatthiasKabel

The wolverine is not as well-known as the badger, even though I think it deserves a similar reputation.

The wolverine is the largest land-dwelling member of the mustelid family (weasels). Like the other mustelids and skunks, the wolverine has scent glands that secrete fluids they can mark their territories with and use as a weapon to when they feel threatened or cranky, as well like badgers the wolverines have loose skin that they can move inside of even when grabbed by larger animals.

The wolverines are mainly scavengers, even though they are well known for defeating animals multiple times larger than themselves. One time one even killed a polar bear!
