Starred agama

With mesmerizing blend of bold blues, fiery reds, and sunshine yellows, it effortlessly catches the eye of all who cross its path

Charles J. Sharp

The starred agama can be found in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, and some parts of Asia and Africa. It lives in rocky habitats, where it can climb and bask on stones and trees. It is a diurnal lizard, meaning it is active during the day. It feeds on insects, plants, and fruits. It can also change its colour to express its mood or temperature. A dominant male may display bright red, turquoise, and brown colours to attract females or intimidate rivals.

With its impressive agility and lightning-fast reflexes, it can effortlessly scamper across rocks and branches, displaying a flair for acrobatics. Its strong, muscular build allows it to navigate the terrain gracefully, while its long, slender tail adds a touch of elegance to its overall presence.
